The Outreach Ministry is carried out through personal evangelism, door-to-door evangelism, open-air preaching and distribution of tracts and gospel literature.
Our evangelists sympathize with the personal struggles of people and help them understand the uniqueness of the gospel truth in bringing spiritual and social transformation in their lives. They also pray for their deliverance from spiritual bondages.
Our evangelists and promotional staff play a crucial role in developing prayer cells in mission fields as well as in the homes of believers.
The Lord moved the heart of Rev. Balin in 2013 and 2014 to prepare for developing a worshipping congregation at the Ministry Office base. Many servants of God affirmed it and prayed with Rev. Balin, and God made it possible for us to conduct the first worship service on 23 March 2014 attended by eight people in the rented office premises.
We truly believe that the service began according to God’s will and in His time. The Lord has been faithful and keeps adding many people to this congregation. We praise Him for His wonderful mercies upon this church. The Lord has blessed CCM by providing a new place for office to function and congregation to worship. The members of this congregation continue to grow spiritually and are preparing to meet the Lord at His coming.
Sunday worship service timing: 08.30 – 10.15am

By God’s enabling grace and through the sacrificial and relentless efforts of our team over the past 21 years, we have been able to see 40 worshipping congregations emerge in the five states where our ministry is on. Of these, only nine congregations have been blessed with a permanent structure to gather for worship. The remaining 31 congregations worship the Lord in temporary shelters and rented buildings with many practical difficulties and inconveniences. Yet they worship the Lord with gladness, celebrating their joy of salvation in Christ, hoping that one day they too would have a permanent place of worship.
As and when possible, CCM initiates upliftment and welfare schemes for our believers to become economically self-sustaining and self-reliant.
While goats are provided free of cost, loans are facilitated towards purchase of cows and for self-employment opportunities.
Short term training is offered to women in developing their sewing skills and become self-employed. Sewing machines are provided to poor widows upon successful completion of the training.
Health awareness programs and medical camps are conducted from time to time by involving a committed team of medical doctors and nurses who are willing to offer their services on a voluntary basis.
CCM gives special attention to the well-being of the children in our ministry areas.
Through CCM’s KERITH Child Care program, nearly 150 children are being helped and nurtured spiritually.
As part of our ministry to believers, children from their families regularly attend Sunday School. The Pastor-in-charge of the congregation and his volunteers give personal attention to every child to make their learning process as enjoyable as possible and provide them opportunities for expressing their talents as well.
VBS is conducted for one full week during the summer holidays. A specially designed VBS curriculum that caters to the needs of children in various age groups is being used. Besides being taught in the truth of the Scripture, we take special interest in inculcating moral and ethical values in them. Our VBS teachers make their learning enjoyable through fun-filled activities, action songs, and by providing opportunities for creative expressions of their arts and talents. Children enjoy the ‘love feast’ arranged on one of these days and the final day program where they can creatively display the lessons learnt at the VBS.
Horeb Institute for Mission Studies (HIMS) is a training wing of Calvary Christian Mission. Making disciples of Jesus Christ and training existing disciples for mission have been the focal points of CCM. Thus, with much prayer and reflection, CCM launched Horeb Institute for Mission Studies (HIMS) on 19 January 2014.
HIMS offers training programs at three levels – Certificate in Theology (C.Th.) and Diploma in Theology (Dip.Th.) and Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) – which are non-residential courses of study giving participants an opportunity to lay a biblical foundation for understanding Christian faith and ministry in the Indian context with a special emphasis on discipleship and evangelism.
Training at HIMS is based on the biblical mandate for Christian discipleship with a view to help trainees develop an ongoing lifestyle of discipleship
HIMS uses a comprehensive curriculum that helps trainees understand God’s Word better, rekindle their passion for God, and develop the art of relating biblical principles to the issues and challenges of India today.
HIMS emphasizes ministerial skill development of trainees via the ministry opportunities provided by Calvary Christian Mission in both urban and rural settings.
At present, CCM takes care of 30 mission fields:
Tamil Nadu – 13
Andhra Pradesh – 1
Haryana – 3
Odisha – 12
Chhattisgarh – 1
The evangelists live in these mission fields along with their families and witness to the people by exhibiting Christlikeness in everything they do and sharing the gospel with them passionately. They continuously pray for the deliverance of people in physical and spiritual bondage.
